Language of Eryndor

Primordial (Terran)

The structured language of stone, foundations, weight, memory, and patient force.

Overview

Terran is the earth-aspected form of Primordial. It is spoken by earth elementals and people shaped by stone, deep places, mineral craft, and old foundations.

Performance note: The real-world analog is a reference for cadence, sound, and creative direction. It is not intended as a direct one-to-one translation of a real culture or language.

Sound and Cadence

Terran uses firm consonants, measured rhythm, and resonant pauses.

Writing and Inscription

Terran script is geometric and structural. Inscriptions are often arranged to mirror physical forces.

Common Uses

  • Earth magic
  • Stonework
  • Foundations
  • Structured ritual

Roleplaying the Language

Speak slowly enough that each statement feels placed rather than released.

What Your Character Knows

  • Material condition and emotional condition often share vocabulary.
  • A cracked object may be described by how it still bears weight.
  • Terran rituals favor repetition and placement.
  • Old stones may preserve names long after records vanish.
